Willamette Tower
Completed 2024
The Willamette Tower is located in the South Waterfront District of Portland
Over the last decade, the South Waterfront has blossomed into one of Portland’s most desirable live/work communities, with over $3 billion in new development. The neighborhood is home to the Oregon Health and Science University, Oregon’s largest employer. OHSU is currently in the second phase of their 20-year plan. This is largely based on expanding its South Waterfront Campus with over one million square feet under construction. The most recent additions to the South Waterfront include the Center for Health and Healing, Rood Family Pavilion and Knight Cancer Institute Research Center.
The 343-unit project consists of 23 stories of concrete high-rise construction
The community includes 3,800 square feet of street-level retail space. The tower is located next to the Willamette River and the newest extension of the South Waterfront Greenway. The community features a ground floor 24-hour fitness center, a dog wash, an extensive patio facing the greenway, a fifth-floor amenity deck with a co-working space and an upscale reading lounge, along with an outdoor terrace offering lounge seating, a fire table, a fully-enclosed dog run, and a 21st floor amenity deck with a resident lounge and outdoor terrace with unobstructed views of Mount Hood. Along the south side of Willamette Tower, Abernethy Street turns into a pedestrian only accessway leading towards the river and includes a public plaza with a water feature, an overlook to the river and direct access to the greenway trails. Unit finishes include wood plank flooring, oversized, operable windows, solar shades, quartz countertops, designer backsplash, stainless steel appliances, spacious closets, a luxury lighting package, and two floors of penthouse units. The project is LEED certified gold.
